SEASONS EXHIBITION December 4, 2015–February 19, 2016
This is the fifth exhibit at the Trianon Art Gallery since the grand opening
on September 20, 2014. The new owner wanted to broaden the art experience for attendees of the many performances at the Theatre. Each exhibit differs from the previous. You’ll be surprised at the variety of artistic talent displayed in the exhibits.
Seasons introduces Photographic Art along with an eclectic grouping of oil, acrylic, and watercolor art. An additional and, needless to say, special touch will be the inclusion of poetry inspired by some of the pieces. The name of this practice is called Ekphrasis derived from the Greek. More generally, an ekphrastic poem is a poem inspired or stimulated by a work of art. But here it simply means, just for you.
Most of the works of art exhibited at the Trianon Art Gallery are for sale. If you have an interest in a specific work or would like to see more of a particular artist’s art, copy the contact information on the tags at the display. You will find in this blog, a post displaying each of the artists’ work separately so you can linger and appreciate the displays.
If you are an artist and would be interested in taking part in a future exhibit, please contact Dave Eisbach, Gallery Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org. To each of you, here’s to a new exhibition, and to new beginnings in 2016.
Seasons Greeting & A Happy New Year!
And as imagination bodies forth
The forms of things unknown, the poet’s pen
Turns them to shapes and gives to airy nothing
A local habitation and a name.
– William Shakespeare, A Midsummer Night’s Dream
